Discourse now loads the full discussion experience right inside your website or blog — so visitors reply, like, and quote without ever leaving the page. Join us live to see how.
With full app mode enabled, embedded discussions load the complete Discourse experience right inside your page — instead of a static list of comments. We'll walk through what that means under the hood.
From a personal blog to a product changelog to a docs site — we'll look at where an embedded conversation earns its place, and the kinds of content it works best alongside.
Real examples of teams wiring their site and their forum into one continuous conversation — so a reader on the website and a member in the community are talking in the same thread.
Then we hand the mic to you. Bring your setup questions — theming, single sign-on, moderation, performance — and ask them live, in the very thread embedded at the bottom of this page.
In Admin → Advanced → Embedding,
turn on the full app mode toggle. That sets
embed_full_app for your site.
Paste the embed script onto your page. Full app mode
adds fullApp: true and an
embedHeight automatically.
The topic renders in place. New visitors get an account in a new tab; everyone else just starts talking.
Everything below this line is a live Discourse instance running in full app mode — embedded straight into this page. Reply here and your post lands in the forum. Ask your Office Hours questions right in the thread.
